We are seeking a highly motivated Proposal Specialist to join our team in our Castle Rock, CO office. The Proposal Specialist will be responsible for creating, reviewing and managing compelling proposals, creating and managing a database for project summaries and resumes, maintaining client relationships, and showcasing our projects. This role is responsible for securing all necessary approvals and ensuring that standard company procedures are adhered to. This position will require some field visits to gather photos and information for project summaries, resumes and the like.
This position will work under the direction of the Alternative Delivery Manager and the Marketing & Communications Manager.
Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
- Develop and maintain a library of proposal templates, boilerplate language, and support documentation.
- Conduct post-proposal reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Create compelling graphics and visuals for proposals.
Marketing & Client Relations:
- Develop and write project write-ups and case studies for completed projects, highlighting key achievements and client benefits.
- Conduct client surveys and gather testimonials to showcase project success and maintain strong relationships.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of projects for marketing materials, proposals, and website content.
General:
- Utilize proposal management software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools to streamline the proposal process.
- Manage cloud-based document storage.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Proven track record of developing and winning proposals.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Expertise in graphic design and visual content creation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
- Ability to travel to project sites for photography.
Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction, business, or a related field.
- OR 2+ years of relevant construction proposal and marketing experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in CM/GC or heavy civil construction is a plus.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- May require occasional travel to other divisions.
- Office-based work with varying temperatures.
- Occasional travel to jobsites with fluctuations in weather.
Salary: From $90,000 a year; Based on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Exempt
