The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in turning data into insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This position involves detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and refine equipment & CAPEX budgets to support business planning and decision-making.
- Support annual budgeting, bi-annual forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes.
- Manage cash flow forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity and support financial planning decisions.
- Analyze financial results, identify performance trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Reconcile data across systems (e.g., ERP, equipment tracking software) to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to document, improve, and implement policies and procedures.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards that track key metrics and financial KPIs.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from executive leadership.
- Contribute to system improvements across platforms such as Prophix, Viewpoint Spectrum, and Equipment Software
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint Spectrum), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and SQL or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex data clearly.
Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in a financial or operational analyst role, preferably in construction or equipment-intensive industries.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- May require occasional travel to other divisions.
- Office-based work with varying temperatures.
Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Salary: $95,000- $120,000, based on experience
