We are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager Assistant to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Project Manager and other project team members daily
Assist Estimators with cost estimates
Submit invoices for payments
Support Project Managers with schedules and budgets
Set Up New Jobs and import them into Spectrum and Heavy Job
Assist in the coordination of construction activities
Create Purchase Orders and Subcontracts from the Bids (making sure subcontractors meet insurance requirements)
Create Job Books for PM & Superintendents
Participate in Precon/Prebids meetings (In-House and External)
Pre-Job video of the Job site
Attend weekly onsite meetings (when necessary)
Interface with permit plans and renewals of permits
Take-Off’s (small ones)
Keep Heavy Jobs software updated
Track all extra work tickets
Printing Plans
Maintain Office Folders, Job List and Plans/Contracts electronic files
Submittals
Any other requests from the PM’s
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion to learn
Good organization skills and follow-through
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience:
Education: A Minimum two years’ experience in the Heavy Civil construction industry
Experience: Experience with Heavy Bid and Heavy Job preferred

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
Office Roles:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Climate-controlled office environment with varying temperatures
Occasional travel to jobsites with exposure to fluctuating weather conditions
Field Roles:
Work performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions, ranging from freezing temperatures to heat above 90°F, in both wet and dry conditions
Work may be performed in confined spaces
Exposure to odors, gases, dust, and dirt
Noise levels ranging from moderate to loud
Frequent lifting and carrying of 10-60 pounds; occasional lifting up to 100 pounds
Frequent overhead reaching and lifting
Majority of time spent standing, crawling, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
Manual labor, including hand digging as needed
Some Saturday work is required; Sundays are rarely needed
