We are in search of dedicated and experienced laborers to join our construction teams. As a laborer at HEI, you will play a crucial role in the execution of our construction projects. Whether it's roadways, bridges, or water infrastructure, your work will have a direct impact on the success and timeliness of our projects

Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Clean and prepare construction site as needed
• Lift heavy loads up to 70 pounds
• Dig pits, trenches and foundations
• Remove and properly dispose of debris and waste materials
• Load and unload supplies from trucks, both manually or by operating equipment
• Perform all tasks in a safe manner by following all safety procedures on the job site
• Attend daily safety meetings with crew
• Utilize proper lifting techniques
• Report safety violations to Supervisor and/or Safety Director
• Immediately report any/all incidents to the Supervisor or Safety team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 2+ years construction industry experience preferred
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Must have physical strength and endurance
• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Comfort working in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations

Pay: $17+ per hour; Based on Experience

Job Type: Full-time, Nonexempt
